Leeds United have once again turned their attention to Armenia national team and Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, reports New York Times journalist David Ornstein.
Initially, the club aimed to sign Facundo Buonanotte, but the player attracted interest from Chelsea, who see him as a replacement for Christopher Nkunku. It should be noted that the French midfielder joined AC Milan this summer.
According to the source, apart from Spertsyan, Leeds are also considering strengthening their attacking options with Bilal El Khannouss (Leicester), Dilane Bakwa (Strasbourg), and Manor Solomon (Tottenham).
Earlier reports suggested that Leeds had already shown interest in Spertsyan at the start of the summer transfer window.
