The video of the moment quickly went viral on social media. The entire team waited for more than an hour while the Barcelona star tried to locate the document, but eventually the bus departed with Yamal—without his passport. It is still unclear how the Spaniard will be able to leave Turkey without the document.

Despite the incident, the match itself was a real celebration for Spain. In Konya, Luis de la Fuente’s side crushed the hosts 6–0. Mikel Merino scored a hat-trick, Pedri added a brace, and Ferran Torres netted another goal.
