LAFC Unveils “Armenian Heritage” Collection Ahead of Armenian Heritage Night

Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) has unveiled an exclusive apparel collection titled “Armenian Heritage”, created by renowned Armenian-American designer Sako Shahinian. The new line celebrates the club’s third annual Armenian Heritage Night, set to take place on October 8, 2025, at BMO Stadium, when LAFC hosts Toronto FC.
Over the past three years, LAFC’s Armenian Heritage Night has become a cherished tradition that brings together soccer fans and the Armenian community of Los Angeles. The event aims to highlight the city’s cultural diversity and honor the Armenian people’s contributions to society.
Exclusive Collection by Sako Shahinian
This year’s highlight is a special collection of shirts, hoodies, and scarves designed by Sako Shahinian, founder of Iron Ladle and an artist who has collaborated with Marvel and DC Comics. According to Shahinian, the inspiration came from the crests of both Los Angeles and Armenia:
“I wanted to tell the story of Armenian-American identity by combining elements from the symbols of the U.S., Mexico, and Los Angeles. LA is our city, our team, and our home,” said Shahinian in an interview with Zartonk Media.
Each ticket purchased through the official event link will include a limited-edition LAFC x Armenian Heritage Night baseball cap.
Before and during the match, attendees can enjoy Armenian fusion cuisine by MidEast Tacos, listen to Armenian music, and witness a ceremony honoring the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, known for its lifesaving mission.
In addition, LAFC will donate new soccer equipment to the Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian School in Encino, supporting youth development and educational programs.
Since its inception in 2023, Armenian Heritage Night has gathered thousands of fans and become an important celebration for Los Angeles’ Armenian diaspora. This year’s edition will once again highlight the club’s strong bond with one of the city’s most vibrant and influential communities.
