Kilikia Thrash Lithuanian Side in UEFA Regions’ Cup

Armenian side Kilikia made a successful start in the preliminary round of UEFA Regions’ Cup qualifying. In their opening match, the team claimed a convincing victory over Lithuanian club Tera Vilnius.
The match, held in Yerevan, ended in a 5-0 win for the Armenian team. Yavryan scored a brace for Kilikia, while Arakelyan, Alaverdyan and Kostenkov each added one goal.
Kilikia will play their next match on June 20 against Estonian side Hiiumaa. That game will be decisive in the battle for first place in the group and qualification for the main qualifying round.
The preliminary round matches are being held in Yerevan. The UEFA Regions’ Cup is a tournament for amateur teams, featuring representatives of European countries at amateur level.
Armenia is represented in this edition by Kilikia, the champion of the Amateur A League.
