Karen Khachanov ends his run at the ATP tournament in Geneva at the quarterfinal stage

Today, in the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Geneva, tennis player Karen Khachanov (ATP 24) was defeated by Austrian Sebastian Ofner (ATP 129) in three sets — 6:4, 4:6, 4:6.
Khachanov started the match confidently by taking the first set but then lost momentum. Ofner improved his serving and managed to turn the match around. Statistically, the Austrian hit 10 aces compared to Khachanov’s 7, and won 77% of points on his first serve. On return, Ofner also had the edge — winning 28 points compared to 26 for the Russian.
Thus, Karen Khachanov ends his run in Geneva, losing to a lower-ranked opponent. Sebastian Ofner continues his quest for the title.
