Karen Khachanov advances to Roland Garros third round, takes revenge on Ofner

World No. 24 Karen Khachanov has reached the third round of the 2025 French Open – Roland Garros, earning a hard-fought victory over Austria’s Sebastian Ofner (ATP No. 108).

The match lasted 4 hours and 3 minutes and ended with a 7–5, 3–6, 7–5, 4–6, 6–2 win for Khachanov. This win was particularly meaningful for Karen – just six days ago in Geneva, he had lost to the same opponent. In Paris, Khachanov claimed a convincing revenge despite strong resistance from Ofner.
