Karen Khachanov reaches Wimbledon quarterfinals

Russian tennis player of Armenian descent, Karen Khachanov, confidently advanced to the final eight at Wimbledon 2025. In the Round of 16, he defeated Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets — 6:4, 6:2, 6:3.
Khachanov dominated from the start, hitting 10 aces and committing no double faults. He won 79% of points on his first serve and converted 6 out of 10 break points. In total, Karen won 92 points to his opponent’s 68 and took twice as many games — 18 to 9.
This is Khachanov’s second Wimbledon quarterfinal in his career. In the next round, he will face the winner of the Taylor Fritz vs. Jordan Thompson match.
