Tennis player Karen Khachanov concluded his run at the major ATP tournament in Rome, falling in a tense battle to world No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz. The match, which lasted over two hours, ended in a victory for the Spaniard with a score of 6–3, 3–6, 7–5.
Khachanov delivered a commendable performance and posed a serious challenge to the match favorite, particularly in the second and third sets. However, in the closing stages, Alcaraz managed to clinch the win by converting one of his five break points.
Before this match, Karen had successfully passed two rounds, defeating Argentine Facundo Bagnis and Italian Francesco Passaro.
