Calendar of Key Sporting Events at the End of 2025

The final weeks of 2025 promise to be intense for Armenian sports fans — major tournaments, fights, and matches featuring Armenian athletes and teams will take place across various sports.

On November 22, legendary kickboxer Giorgio Petrosyan will hold his farewell fight. On the same day, as part of UFC, Arman Tsarukyan will face Dan Hooker.

On November 27, the Armenian national basketball team will play an away match against Bulgaria in the EuroBasket 2029 qualifiers.

That same day, FC Noah will face Scotland’s Aberdeen in the UEFA Conference League.

On November 30, the Armenian basketball team will host Norway in another EuroBasket 2029 qualifying match.

On December 2, the IBA World Boxing Championships 2025 — one of the main combat sports events of December — will kick off.

On December 5, ACA 197 will feature the rematch between Aren Akopyan and Imran Bukuev. Hayk Kazaryan will also compete at the event.

On December 11, Noah will host Legia in the Conference League, and on December 18, the team will play away against Dynamo Kyiv.

On December 13, the WBC title fight between Norair Mikaelyan and Badou Jack will take place.

On December 21, the Armenian Wrestling Championship 2025 will be held.

The sports month will conclude with the Hype FC event on December 30 in Yerevan.

And after the New Year holidays, we will begin preparations for the UEFA Futsal Euro 2026 — where Armenia will compete for the first time — and on February 6 the 2026 Winter Olympic Games will begin.
