On July 3, the UEFA Futsal Champions League preliminary and main round draws took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Armenian champion Yerevan will begin its journey in the tournament from the preliminary stage.
According to the draw, Yerevan was placed in Group A, where they will face:
-
Forsan (North Macedonia, group host)
-
Encamp (Andorra)
-
Murata (San Marino)
The Group A mini-tournament will be held from August 26 to 31 in North Macedonia. The winners of the eight preliminary groups will advance to the Main Round via Path B.
All matches of the preliminary and main rounds are played as mini-tournaments in a single venue. The four top-ranked countries — Portugal, Spain, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine — are each represented by two clubs, while others enter one team.
If Yerevan qualifies for the next round, they will enter Group 8 of the Main Round (Path B), where their potential opponents are Hit (Kyiv, Ukraine), Aurora Team (Ukraine), and the winner of Group C.
The Main Round matches are scheduled from October 28 to November 2. Group winners from Path B will advance to the Round of 16, which, for the first time in tournament history, will be played in a two-legged format. The Final Four is planned for May 2026.
