The first winners and medalists of the 2025 U20 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship are known

On July 1, the finals in the first five weight categories — 55, 63, 77, 87, and 130 kg — were held in the Italian city of Caorle. Armenia’s Samvel Terteryan (77 kg) claimed a bronze medal.

Wrestlers from Russia and Georgia each won two gold medals, while Hungary secured one gold.

In addition, the qualification and semifinal bouts took place today in the remaining five categories — 60, 67, 72, 82, and 97 kg. Gaspar Terteryan (72 kg), the brother of Samvel, advanced to the final for Armenia.

The newly crowned European champions are: Ivan Solomin (Russia), Igor Punchenko (Russia), Henri Putkaradze (Georgia), Luka Kochalidze (Georgia), and Laszlo Darabos (Hungary).
