Yerevan’s "Urartu" has received money for the transfer of Russian forward Ivan Ignatev to the Algerian club "JS Kabylie."
According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee amounted to 300,000 euros. The player himself signed a contract with his new club until the summer of 2027.
Ivan Ignatev joined "Urartu" before the start of the current season as a free agent. He played 19 matches for the Yerevan team and scored 13 goals, becoming the top scorer of the autumn part of the Armenian championship.
It is worth noting that "Urartu" has successfully sold players for the second season in a row. Last season, the club earned 950,000 euros (excluding bonuses) from the transfers of three players: Ugochukwu Iwu (600K), Narek Grigoryan (250K), and Nana Antwi (100K).
