On April 10 in Montreal, World and European youth champion Erik Israyelyan will make his professional boxing debut.
Despite a successful amateur boxing career, Israyelyan never made it to the main squad of Armenia’s senior national team. As a result, he decided to focus on a professional career, signing a contract with the Canadian promotional agency Eye of the Tiger Management.
On April 10, the 21-year-old Armenian boxer will face 23-year-old Hungarian Richard Bernath (0-1) during the Eye of the Tiger Management boxing night in Montreal.
