Historic Champions League debut for Noah: Victory over Budućnost (VIDEO)

Yerevan’s Noah started its Champions League journey with a win. In the first leg of the first qualifying round, the Armenian champions defeated Montenegro’s Budućnost 1–0 at home.
The match took place on July 8 at a packed stadium in Abovyan.
The only and historic goal of the game was scored by Imran Oulad Omar, who came on as a substitute in the second half and fired a precise shot from the edge of the box after a pass from Elder Ferreira. This goal not only secured the win but also entered the history books — Noah’s first-ever goal and first-ever win in the Champions League.
The return leg will take place on July 15 in Podgorica.
This was Noah’s debut appearance in the UEFA Champions League. Several new signings featured: David Sualehe and Alen Grgić started the match, while Marin Jakoliš came on from the bench. Other newcomers are yet to make their debut.
