Inter secured a 2-0 away victory over Feyenoord in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, significantly increasing their chances of advancing to the next stage.
Marcus Thuram opened the scoring after an assist from Nicolò Barella. In the second half, Lautaro Martínez doubled Inter’s lead. Additionally, the Milan club was awarded a penalty, but Piotr Zieliński failed to convert the spot kick.
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan did not take part in the match and remained on the bench.
