Milan’s Inter failed to take advantage of Napoli’s slip-up — the Neapolitans had drawn earlier with Parma (0:0) — and dropped points themselves with a 2–2 draw against Lazio.
Simone Inzaghi’s team took the lead twice: Yann Bisseck opened the scoring, followed by a goal from Denzel Dumfries. However, both times Lazio managed to equalize thanks to a brace from 37-year-old Pedro, who became the true hero of the match after coming off the bench.
Now, ahead of the final round of Serie A, Napoli retains the top spot, one point ahead of Inter. In the last round, Napoli will host Cagliari, while Inter faces a tough away game against Como — the team of Cesc Fàbregas, known for its resilient character.
It’s also worth noting the return of Henrikh Mkhitaryan after injury — the Armenian midfielder played almost the entire match and was substituted in the 91st minute.
