Inter Milan have strengthened their midfield by signing 21-year-old Croatian international Petar Sučić. The transfer from Dinamo Zagreb cost €14 million.
Sučić had the best season of his career last year, scoring 7 goals in 31 matches, including two in the Champions League. He also debuted for the Croatian national team and scored in the Nations League.
A versatile midfielder known for his excellent technique and vision, Sučić is seen as a potential replacement for Henrikh Mkhitaryan or Hakan Çalhanoğlu. He becomes the eighth Croatian in Inter’s history, following in the footsteps of Kovačić and Brozović.
His brother, Luka Sučić, plays for Real Sociedad.
