Inter beat Genoa and returned to the top of Serie A

Inter Milan secured a victory over Genoa in the matchday 15 fixture of the Italian Serie A. The game ended in a 2–1 win for the Nerazzurri.

Yann Bisseck and Lautaro Martínez scored for the hosts, while Vitinha netted the only goal for the Genoa side. Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan came on in the 74th minute and received a 6.8 rating from analytical platform SofaScore.

Slip-ups by Milan and Napoli in this round allowed Cristian Chivu’s team to regain the top spot in the Serie A standings.

Inter will play their next match in Saudi Arabia, where they will face Bologna in the Italian Super Cup semi-final on December 19.
