Burkina Faso national team defensive midfielder Gustavo Sangaré has extended his contract with Yerevan-based FC Noah under a 2+1 format — the agreement is valid for two years with an option to extend for one more season.
Sangaré joined the Armenian club in the summer of 2024 and became one of the team’s key players. In the past season, the 28-year-old midfielder played 34 matches in all competitions, helping Noah secure a historic double — the Armenian Premier League title and the Armenian Cup — as well as qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League.
"I'm staying at Noah. There are many challenges ahead, and I’ll give everything to overcome each of them," Sangaré said after signing the new deal.
It’s worth noting that earlier, five players left Noah after their contracts expired.
