Grant-Leon Ranos played the full match for Borussia U23

Armenia national team forward Grant-Leon Ranos played all 90 minutes for Borussia Mönchengladbach’s U23 side in a Regionalliga West match. The team earned a 2–1 victory over Wuppertal.

While Ranos was helping the reserves, Borussia Mönchengladbach’s first team faced the Armenian striker’s former club Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and lost 0–3. Ranos was not included in the squad for that match.

For the 21-year-old striker, this was his first appearance for the reserves this season. Earlier, he had come on as a substitute five times in Bundesliga matches and scored his debut goal in Germany’s top division.
