Grant-Leon Ranos helps Eintracht take important step toward staying in the 2. Bundesliga

Armenia national team forward Grant-Leon Ranos took part in an important match in the penultimate round of the 2. Bundesliga. His club, Eintracht Braunschweig, defeated Dynamo Dresden 2-1 at home and practically secured their place in Germany’s second division.
Ranos started the match on the bench and came on in the 70th minute. According to SofaScore, the Armenian forward received a rating of 6.6. It was already Ranos’ 11th appearance for Eintracht Braunschweig, although he has yet to register a goal or an assist for the team.
Ahead of the final round, Eintracht Braunschweig are 14th in the 2. Bundesliga table, while Dynamo Dresden sit 13th.
In the final round, Ranos’ team will play away against Schalke. The match will take place on May 17 in Gelsenkirchen. Schalke have already secured first place and promotion back to the Bundesliga.
It should be noted that star Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko plays for Schalke after joining the club in January 2026.
