Hrant Kalachyan earns dominant victory over Chechen prospect at ACA YE 56

On July 17 in Grozny, Armenian fighter Grant Kalachyan (2-0) secured a confident victory over Ibrahim Abdulmadjidov (1-1) by unanimous decision at the ACA Young Eagles 56 event.

The 28-year-old Kalachyan, a former member of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team and participant in World and European Championships, once again showcased his elite skills. In the bout against the promising Chechen fighter, Kalachyan dominated from the first to the last second, leaving his opponent with no chance. The Armenian's overwhelming performance left Abdulmadjidov embarrassed — he exited the octagon without waiting for the judges’ decision, to the deafening silence of the home crowd.

This was Kalachyan’s second professional MMA fight. He made his debut in 2024 in Armenia, where he also emerged victorious.
