The geography of Armenian footballers playing in European leagues continues to expand. Recently, an Armenian player joined a club from Gibraltar, and now a player of Armenian descent has also appeared in the San Marino championship.
The 20-year-old forward Gor Chatoyan signed a contract with Pennarossa, a club competing in San Marino’s top division, this summer.
There is currently little information available about the young striker. Chatoyan grew up in Italy, and his contract with Pennarossa is the first of his senior career. He will wear the No. 9 shirt for his new team.
Chatoyan was not included in Pennarossa’s squad for the opening round of the San Marino championship.
