Ararat-Armenia Head Coach Comments on UEFA Europa Conference League Draw Results

Ararat-Armenia head coach Tulipa shared his thoughts on the results of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round draw. The Armenian club will face Romanian side Universitatea Cluj.

"As a result of the draw, we got a strong and well-organized opponent. Both teams are actively strengthening their squads with quality players, which promises a very competitive qualifying stage. We believe Ararat-Armenia will form a solid team with a strong desire to win. Every detail matters on our way to the goal," said Tulipa.

Ararat-Armenia, who finished second in the Armenian Premier League, will begin their European campaign from the second round.

Universitatea Cluj, the future opponent of the Armenian team, hasn’t played in European competitions since 1972. Last season, the Romanian club finished fourth in their national championship. Interestingly, Armenian national team striker Artur Miranyan played for Cluj last season.
