Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave an interview to SkySport ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona.
"This is a game that can take us to the final. We want to do everything possible together with our fans to advance," said Mkhitaryan.
The player emphasized that in matches like this, experience is not the only key factor:
"Not just experience, but also clarity and composure. We all have to stick together and fight to win this game."
When asked whether the team steps onto the field feeling superior to the opponent, the Armenian midfielder replied:
"No. We go out there to play the game, do everything we can, and then we’ll see."
Speaking about preparing individually for Lamine Yamal, Mkhitaryan stressed:
"We don’t have a tactic focused on just one player. We’ve prepared for the entire Barcelona team, we’ll see today."
He also highlighted the major role of the supporters:
"How important are the fans? Very much."
