Gennady Makaryan and Ilnar Ishimbaev fought at RCC Fair Fight 30 under kickboxing rules with MMA gloves. Makaryan won by unanimous decision.
Gennady and Ilnar started the fight actively. Makaryan fired from a distance and moved a lot, while “Hunter” looked to close the distance and attacked with powerful hooks. Ishimbaev landed more punches, forcing Makaryan into clinches, but Gennady withstood the pressure. Ilnar continued pressing in the second round, working as the aggressor, but Makaryan started countering. Gennady capitalized on Hunter’s mistakes and managed to even the fight despite Ishimbaev’s active start.
In the third round, both fighters slowed down, having spent a lot of energy, especially Hunter. Makaryan began pressing forward, took the initiative, and worked well with his hands, opening a cut on Hunter. In the final seconds, both fighters went toe-to-toe, but Gennady was more accurate. After three rounds, Makaryan secured the win by judges' decision.
