The Cyprus U21 national football team visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan following their first friendly match against Armenia U21. The players paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, highlighting the deep historical ties between Armenia and Cyprus.
The first match between the Armenia and Cyprus U21 teams, held on June 3 in Yerevan, ended in a 1-1 draw. The second encounter is scheduled for June 6, also in the Armenian capital. This visit to the memorial became an important symbol of friendship and mutual respect between the two nations.
