FC Yerevan started unsuccessfully in the Futsal Champions League

Futsal club "Yerevan" began its UEFA Futsal Champions League 2025/26 preliminary round campaign with a defeat. In the opening match, the champions of Armenia lost 1–3 to San Marino’s "Murata".

The hero of the match was Croatian Antonio Jamičić, who scored a hat-trick for the San Marino side. Yerevan’s only goal was scored by Karen Khatuyev.

The Armenian team will play its next match today against "Encamp" (Andorra). The final group stage test will take place on August 30 against "Forza" (North Macedonia).
