Hungarian side Ferencváros played a national league match ahead of the return leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round against Yerevan’s Noah and drew with MTK 1-1.
Fradi’s head coach Robbie Keane made only two changes to the starting lineup compared to the first match against the Armenian club. In the 44th minute, striker Lenny Joseph put Ferencváros ahead, but Raimund Molnár equalized in the 53rd minute.
Armenian midfielder Edgar Sevikyan came on in the 79th minute and managed to take one shot on target.
After the match, Robbie Keane noted that the team has new players and they need time to gel:
“We managed to win the previous match against Noah, I know it’s impossible to win all the games,” added Fradi’s coach.
It should be reminded that in the first leg of the Champions League second qualifying round, the Hungarian club defeated Noah 2-1. The return leg will take place on July 30 in Budapest.
