Favorites confirmed their status in the opening matches of the 11th round of the Armenian Premier League

In the first matches of the 11th round of the Armenian Premier League, the favorites — Alashkert and Urartu — claimed victories.
Alashkert defeated Van for the second time this season, winning 1–0. The only goal of the match was scored by Momo Touré, his sixth of the campaign. The victory allowed the Yerevan club to strengthen its lead at the top of the table.
Urartu delivered an impressive performance against Shirak, crushing their opponent 5–0. Among the scorers were Armenia national team players: Narek Agasaryan scored and provided an assist, while Erik Piloyan found the net after a free kick by captain Jirair Margaryan. Karen Melkonyan scored his first goal of the season, and Brazilian Bruno Michel netted twice, taking his tally to ten goals and topping the league’s scoring chart.
After these results, Alashkert continues to lead with 25 points, while Urartu sits third with 21.
