20-year-old Armenian boxer Erik Israyelyan (2-0) continues to make a confident statement in the professional ring. In his second fight as a pro, he delivered a spectacular knockout against Canadian Alex Gagnon (0-3-1) during a boxing event in Montreal.

This win marked Israyelyan’s second straight early stoppage in his professional career. At the beginning of 2025, he signed a contract with the renowned Canadian promotion Eye of The Tiger. Under their banner, Erik has already fought twice, winning both bouts convincingly.
Before turning professional, Israyelyan achieved great success as an amateur — becoming a youth world and European champion as part of Armenia’s national team.
