Yerevan to host first qualifying stage of U20 European Volleyball Championship

Yerevan will host the first qualifying stage of the U20 European Volleyball Championship. The tournament will take place in the Armenian capital from October 28 to 31.
A total of six Eastern European national teams will participate in the competition:
- Armenia
- Poland
- Latvia
- Estonia
- Georgia
- Ukraine
The qualifying matches will be held at the Yerevan Gazprom Armenia Sports Complex.
This will be the second major international volleyball tournament hosted by Yerevan in recent years. In 2025, the Armenian capital hosted the final stage of the U16 European Volleyball Championship.
Armenia therefore continues to host continental-level competitions for youth national teams. This time, Armenia U20 will look to make the most of home advantage and continue its campaign for a place in the next stage of the European Championship.
