Emma Poghosyan — European Junior Champion with Two Records

19-year-old Armenian weightlifter Emma Poghosyan has won the gold medal at the European U20 Championships in the 86 kg weight category, held in Durrës, Albania.
Poghosyan placed third in the snatch and first in the clean and jerk, setting a European youth record. With her total, she also broke the European record in the combined lift, winning overall gold, as well as small bronze and small gold medals.
