Armenian athlete Elmira Karapetyan became a European record holder at the European Shooting Championship held in Osijek, Croatia. In the 10m air pistol discipline, she scored 48 points, setting a new continental record.
The tournament concluded on March 14, and after its completion, Karapetyan was officially awarded a diploma confirming her achievement. She delivered an impressive performance in the preliminary stage, which secured her a spot in the finals. In the decisive round, Elmira confidently fought for gold but lost to Russia’s Lyubov Yaskevich, earning a silver medal.
