Armenia national team forward Edgar Sevikyan has been named in the squad of Hungarian club Ferencváros for the two-legged UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against Yerevan’s Noah.
Ferencváros — a 30-time Hungarian champion — enters the European competition at this stage after winning the domestic league in the 2024/25 season. The first leg will take place on July 22 in Yerevan, kicking off at 18:00 Hungarian time (20:00 Yerevan time). The return match is scheduled for July 30 in Budapest at the Groupama Arena.
Head coach Robbie Keane and his staff have submitted the official squad list to UEFA. The 23-year-old Sevikyan is among the 23 players selected for the tie.
According to the club’s sporting director Tamás Hajnal, the squad can still be adjusted up to 24 hours before the first match. “No one can be sure of their place. We rely on everyone and aim to perform well in multiple competitions,” he said.
