Edgar Sevikyan could continue his career in the Israeli league

Armenia national team winger Edgar Sevikyan could continue his career in the Israeli league. According to Israeli outlet Sport5, Hapoel Petah Tikva are interested in the 25-year-old footballer. Hungarian media have also confirmed reports of negotiations.

According to available information, the Israeli club has already opened talks over a possible move for Sevikyan. Hapoel Petah Tikva represent the city of Petah Tikva and finished sixth in Israel’s top division last season.

Since returning to Ferencváros, Sevikyan has made just two partial appearances for the Hungarian side and has not been included in the squad for the club’s latest matches. His contract with the club runs until 2028.

Sevikyan spent last season on loan at Russian club Akron.

It is worth noting that Armenia national team forward Artur Miranyan also played in the Israeli league last season, representing Bnei Sakhnin. Miranyan is currently without a club.
