A historic event for the entire world of kickboxing took place at the Allianz Cloud arena in Milan. At PetrosyanMania 2025, the legendary Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan held the final professional fight of his career and defeated Brazil’s Joao Souza by unanimous decision.
This bout was the 116th in the career of the 39-year-old Armenian-Italian fighter and earned him his 109th victory, putting a bright and symbolic end to his more than twenty-year journey in professional sports.

In his farewell fight, Petrosyan once again demonstrated all the qualities that earned him the status of one of the greatest kickboxers of the 21st century. He confidently controlled the distance, counterattacked with precision, and did not allow his opponent to engage in dangerous exchanges.
