Jon Jones to be special guest at IBA Bare Knuckle 5 in Moscow: two fighters from Armenia included in the card

On June 27, the fifth international tournament of the IBA Bare Knuckle league will take place at CSKA Arena in Moscow. One of the main highlights of the evening will be the appearance of legendary UFC fighter Jon Jones, who has been invited to the event as a special guest and co-host.

IBA Bare Knuckle #5 will bring together representatives from different countries and is expected to become one of the notable summer events in the world of bare-knuckle fighting. Athletes from Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Tajikistan, Cuba, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Italy, Montenegro, Iran and Belarus will step into the ring.

The main event of the evening will be a rematch between Kyrgyzstan’s Samat Abdyrahmanov and Russia’s Islam Kadiev. The bout will take place in the 77 kg weight category and is scheduled for five two-minute rounds. Abdyrahmanov is a WBL world boxing champion, while Kadiev is known as a Master of Sport in kickboxing, the winner of the “Nashe Delo” Grand Prix and a finalist of the second season of “Alf Reality.”

In the co-main event, fans will see another rematch as Tajikistan’s Shodruz Davlatov faces Russia’s Magomed Amagaev in the welterweight division. Both fighters have identical bare-knuckle records — 8 wins and 2 losses.

Two bouts featuring fighters from Armenia will be of particular interest to Armenian fans. Professional boxer and Force League Grand Prix champion Tigran Matevosyan, known by the nickname “Brooklyn,” will face Kyrgyzstan’s Abdurakhman Abdurakhmanov, a “Hype Reality” champion and Master of Sport in boxing. Their fight will be held in the 70 kg weight category.

Another representative of Armenia, Serezha Harutyunyan, nicknamed “Armenian Explosion,” will enter the ring against media star, Russian champion and Master of Sport in kickboxing Farid Yadullaev. This bout will take place at 68 kg.

The card also features fights involving well-known representatives of MMA and bare-knuckle fighting. Russia’s Maksim Butorin will face Brazil’s Joilton Lutterbach, a five-time world MMA champion. One of the most recognizable fighters in the industry, Timur Abdurakhmanov, will take on Alexander Perevyazko, while world combat sambo champion Sulambek Shakhgiriev will fight Cuban knockout artist Yasel Reyes.

The organizers expect IBA Bare Knuckle #5 to become a major international tournament featuring strong fighters from different disciplines, including boxing, kickboxing, MMA and combat sambo.
