Jake Babian scores fastest win in LXF history — 6-second knockout (VIDEO)

MMA fighter with Armenian roots, Jake Babian (5-1), earned a spectacular victory at the LXF 24 tournament held on May 11 in Long Beach, California. He faced American Marcus Walston (2-4), and the fight ended in just 6 seconds — a new record for the fastest win in LXF league history.
Right after the opening bell, Babyan launched an aggressive attack, quickly took his opponent to the ground, and began delivering strikes, prompting the referee to stop the fight.
The 27-year-old Jake Babian has been competing in professional MMA since 2023. He lost his debut bout but then put together an impressive five-fight winning streak, finishing four of those fights early.
Babian lives in Hawaii and has Armenian heritage on his father's side. His Armenian grandfather lived in Italy before moving to the United States. Jake fondly remembers his grandfather and enters the cage with the Armenian flag. He dreams of representing Armenia in the UFC one day.
Before switching to MMA, Jake had a successful career in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling tournaments.
