Two Armenian Boxers Reach the U17 European Championships Finals

Armenian national team representatives Hakob Sharbatyan and Romik Harutyunyan have advanced to the finals of the U17 European Boxing Championships in Budva.
In the 50 kg weight category, Hakob Sharbatyan secured a dominant 5-0 victory over Poland's Piotr Dwojacki, knocking his opponent down in the second round. The Armenian boxer will face Romania's Alexandru Butan in the final.
Competing in the 66 kg division, Romik Harutyunyan defeated Czech boxer Pavel Dusanek by unanimous decision, 5-0. Harutyunyan will face Italy's Raul Barone in the final.
Another Armenian representative, Eduard Karamyan, was defeated in the 60 kg semifinals after his bout against an opponent from Moldova was stopped early. He finished the tournament with a bronze medal.
As a result, the Armenian national team has already secured three medals, two of which could still turn into gold.
