Armenian midfielder David Davidyan has recovered from injury and returned to action in the 13th round of the Russian First League (FNL), as Arsenal Tula secured a victory over Spartak Kostroma.
Davidyan started the match on the bench and entered the pitch in the 66th minute. Just ten minutes later, the 28-year-old midfielder played a part in the attacking move that produced his team's winning goal.
In the 76th minute, Davidyan cleverly chested the ball to a teammate on the left flank, initiating a well-worked attacking move that ended with Arsenal finding the net.
This was Davidyan's first appearance since recovering from injury. The Armenian midfielder had missed Arsenal Tula's previous four matches due to the injury and was also unavailable for Armenia's October UEFA Nations League fixtures.
Meanwhile, another Armenian footballer, David Kirakosyan, who plays for Spartak Kostroma, remained on the bench throughout the match.
