David Davidyan joins Arsenal Tula

Armenia national team midfielder David Davidyan will continue his career at Arsenal Tula. The transfer of the 28-year-old footballer from Rotor Volgograd has been officially announced.
Davidyan’s new club also plays in Russia’s First League. Arsenal Tula are coached by Dmitry Gunko.
Last season, Davidyan was one of Rotor’s notable players. The Armenian midfielder scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists in 27 matches. The Volgograd club fought for promotion to the Russian Premier League but lost to Akron in the promotion play-offs.
It should be noted that Davidyan has recently returned to the Armenia national team. The midfielder has been called up for Armenia’s June friendly matches against Kazakhstan and Moldova.
Armenia will face Kazakhstan on June 6 and Moldova on June 9. Both matches will take place in Yerevan.
