Moscow’s CSKA won the Russian Super Cup by defeating Krasnodar 1–0. The match was held on neutral ground and ended in a narrow victory for the Army team, thanks to a goal from central defender Igor Diveev.

Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan played the full 90 minutes and received a 6.9 rating from SofaScore. The Armenia national team midfielder posted the following stats:
