In the 16th round of the Serbian SuperLiga, defending champions Red Star Belgrade unexpectedly fell to a 0–1 away defeat against Javor Ivanjica.
Armenian national team defender Nair Tiknizyan was included in Red Star’s matchday squad, but head coach Vladan Milojević opted not to bring him onto the field.
This loss marked Red Star’s third defeat in their last eight matches across all competitions. Over the same stretch, the Belgrade side has earned three victories and two draws, highlighting the team’s inconsistent form during the autumn phase of the season.
Despite the setback, Red Star remains in second place with 35 points. League leaders Partizan hold 37 points, though they have played one match more.
The victory allowed Javor to climb to ninth place, improving their tally to 20 points.
