In the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 between Manchester City and Real Madrid, a controversial incident occurred that could have affected the match.

Erling Haaland attempted to break into Real Madrid's penalty area, but his run was blocked by a hand from defender Fran García. According to the rules, such handball should be penalized, but the referee did not call it, and no penalty was awarded.

The incident occurred at 1–1 near the end of the first half, shortly after Haaland's goal, causing strong reactions from players and fans alike.
