2025 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, Day Three Results

On September 20, in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, the third day of the 2025 World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship took place. On the third competition day, the champions and medalists in the 60, 72, and 97 kg weight categories were determined, as well as the finalists in the 63, 67, and 87 kg categories.
In the Armenian team, Hrachya Poghosyan (60 kg) won a bronze medal, while Slavik Galstyan (67 kg) earned the right to compete for bronze tomorrow.
World champions were crowned from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Iran: Aidos Sultangali, Ulvu Ganizade, and Olympic champion Mohammad Hadi Saravi, who defeated Artur Sargsyan (Russia) in the final.
Before the final day of competition, Iran confidently leads the team standings, with nearly double the points of its closest pursuer, Georgia. Armenia is currently in 4th place. Iran has three gold medals, while Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan each have one champion.
