On March 12, the 2025 U23 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship kicked off in Tirana. On the first day of the competition, the finalists were determined in five weight categories: 55 kg, 63 kg, 77 kg, 87 kg, and 130 kg.
None of the Armenian wrestlers managed to reach the final, but four athletes earned the right to compete for bronze medals through the repechage rounds:
- Araik Topalyan (55 kg)
- Davit Jotyan (63 kg)
- Vigen Nazaryan (87 kg)
- Razmik Kurdian (130 kg)

Thus, tomorrow, 9 Armenian wrestlers will compete: four in the repechage block and five starting their tournament journey:

- 67 kg: Ruben Miranyan

- 82 kg: Erik Ter-Matevosyan
- 97 kg: Harutyun Kirakosyan
