European Boxing Championships U19 & U23 in Yerevan: Results of the Second Day

On November 4, in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, the second day of the 2025 European Boxing Championships among youth (U19) and under-23 (U23) athletes took place under the auspices of the EUBC. The tournament will continue until November 10, 2025.
The second competition day featured the U23 women’s semifinals and the U19 preliminary bouts.
Women (U23)
Ten Armenian boxers competed that day, six of whom claimed victories.
Among the U23 women, Lusine Gevorgyan (48 kg), Lusia Avetisyan (54 kg), Julia Lalayan (57 kg), and Sona Harutyunyan (63 kg) lost their bouts and finished the competition with bronze medals.
Elida Kocharian (60 kg) and Arevik Dohoyan (52 kg) advanced to the finals, where they will compete for gold.
Youth (U19)
Among the men, all Armenian representatives secured convincing victories:

Andranik Martirosyan (63.5 kg) won his second fight in a row, this time against a Russian boxer;

Samvel Siramargyan (75 kg) also defeated a Russian opponent;
-
Albert Harutyunyan (80 kg) triumphed over a Moldovan athlete.
Among the girls, Helen Papyan (57 kg) stood out, defeating her opponent from Georgia.
