European Boxing Championships (U19 & U23) Draw Held in Yerevan

Yerevan is ready to host another major sporting event. On November 2, the Armenian capital held the draw ceremony for the European Boxing Championships for Youth (U19) and Under-23 (U23) athletes. The official opening ceremony will take place on November 3 at 16:00 at the “Sports Management Center” (formerly “Mika” Sports Complex), followed by the first bouts.
This year’s tournament brings together 256 boxers from 25 European countries. Competitors from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Moldova, Georgia, Romania, Montenegro, Spain, Serbia, North Macedonia, Israel, Cyprus, Slovakia, Malta, Portugal, Czech Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Scotland, Greece, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete for medals in Yerevan.
Medals will be awarded in 13 men’s and 12 women’s weight categories in both the U19 and U23 divisions.
The U19 category includes 94 male and 39 female participants, while the U23 division features 85 men and 38 women.
