European Boxing Championship U19 and U23 kicks off in Yerevan — results of the first day

On November 3, the 2025 European Boxing Championship among youth (U19) and under-23 (U23) athletes kicked off in Yerevan under the auspices of the EUBC. The tournament will continue until November 10, 2025. The first competition day offered spectators an exciting program and many spectacular bouts.

Three boxers represented Armenia on the first day — all emerged victorious: Tigran Hovsepyan defeated a Moldovan opponent in a tough fight, Andranik Martirosyan overcame a Georgian boxer, and Argishti Hakobyan beat a Serbian contender. All three advanced to the quarterfinals.
